Why doesn't the USA invade Canada to liberate the oppressed people of Quebec? Freedom?

At present, Canada poses no threat to our country. I can't name any conflict in our history where it wasn't fought to protect us from some REAL threat. That is why we go to war. We don't do it for oil or to free oppressed people. We do it to protect ourselves and that is the ONLY reason.
