Why cant i see the words in Empire Total War?

You probably lack the hard drive space. Empire: Total War is a very demanding game when it comes to system specs. I have a 500 gb 2.4 GHz processor with 3 GB or RAM, and my laptop still has difficulty playing it. However, unless your computer is overrun with files, you shouldn't have a problem. Make sure at least 75% of your system memory is free, and be sure to cleanup and defrag your hard drive, then try reinstalling it. If that doesn't work, contact creative embly or sega and ask them what the problem might be. Good luck!
